What Are We Looking For?

Valence Security is setting new standards in the SaaS security space and delivering cutting-edge solutions to tackle the toughest cybersecurity challenges. We’re assembling a badass marketing team, and we’re looking for a data-obsessed Digital Demand Marketing Manager to fuel our demand generation engine and create an inbound machine. You’ll be in the driver’s seat, owning everything from SEO/SEM and email marketing to social media, webinars, and video content creation, with the freedom to experiment, innovate, and drive growth across all digital channels. This isn’t just a job—it’s your chance to make an immediate impact and help shape our marketing strategies and tactics from the ground up. 

In this fast-paced, high-energy role, you’ll create and manage digital campaigns across multiple channels to support our explosive growth goals. You’ll also collaborate closely with our Sales team to ensure seamless lead handoffs and that we have the right campaign strategy for every stage of the buyer journey, and you’ll get to flex your creative muscles by producing engaging video content that will boost our brand’s visibility. If you love getting into the nitty-gritty of SEO/SEM, and can maintain laser-focus on driving results for both pipeline and revenue growth, in addition to website traffic, brand visibility, and content engagement—we want you on board!

Responsibilities

  • SEO/SEM & Digital Campaigns: Lead our SEO and SEM efforts, maximizing traffic and leads. Manage integrated digital campaigns across PPC (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads), email marketing, social media, and webinars—always with a focus on optimizing for performance and results.
  • Website Strategy & Analytics: Make our website work harder! Use data-driven insights from Google Analytics and heat maps to boost UX, optimize landing pages, and drive conversions.
  • Inbound Marketing & Nurture Programs: Create targeted email campaigns and nurture programs that keep our prospects engaged and excited. We want leads turning into deals, and you’ll make it happen!
  • Demand Gen & Automation: Own our demand generation and marketing automation processes, continuously optimizing for scalability and effectiveness. Implement lead scoring processes that make our Sales team’s job easier.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Sales to ensure no lead falls through the cracks. You’ll be the glue that connects Marketing and Sales, ensuring everyone is aligned and firing on all cylinders.
  • Campaign Reporting & KPIs: Data is king. You’ll track campaign performance, report on KPIs, and constantly tweak tactics to drive better results. Your insights will guide senior management decisions.
  • Stay Ahead of the Game: Always be learning! Stay on top of the latest trends in SEO/SEM, demand generation, and marketing automation to keep our marketing strategy fresh and innovative.
  • Video Content Creation: Help us create buzz! Collaborate on producing short, high-energy video content that showcases our thought leadership, products, and success stories. If you can edit videos too—bonus points!

Requirements

  • SaaS Security or Cybersecurity Experience: If you’re looking for a particular degree or specific number of years of experience requirement, you won’t find that here—we care about what you’ve accomplished, not how long you’ve been doing it. You’ve been in the trenches of SaaS security or cybersecurity startups and you have the results to prove you know how to drive demand in this highly competitive space. You understand the unique challenges and opportunities of marketing in the security world, and you know how to position solutions that resonate with technical audiences. You’ve built campaigns from the ground up in tandem with optimizing existing strategies, and you thrive in the fast-paced, ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape, delivering measurable success.
  • Digital Campaign Expertise: You’re a pro at executing and managing multi-channel digital campaigns and have experience owning SEO, paid digital, email marketing, social advertising, content syndication, and influencer engagement programs. You’ve got the results to prove it.
  • Data-Driven Reporting Master: You live for data. You’re skilled at tracking and analyzing KPIs, you know how to communicate insights to senior management effectively. You’re experienced in using analytics to drive decision-making and campaign optimizations that lead to increased traffic, leads, and revenue.
  • Marketing Operations Wizard: You’ve got deep experience in marketing automation, lead scoring, and conversion optimization. Tools like HubSpot or Marketo are in your wheelhouse.
  • Creative & Collaborative: You know how to bring campaigns to life, working seamlessly with creative partners. Your strong eye for design, understanding of basic design principles, and short-form copywriting skills ensure that all content is on point.
  • Problem Solver: You excel at solving complex problems and making strategic program optimizations based on data, industry trends, and best practices.
  • MarTech Stack Pro: HubSpot, Salesforce, and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, and more) are second nature to you.
  • Time & Project Management: You’re experienced at managing time, budget trackers, and project work plans to meet deadlines without breaking a sweat.
  • Strong Communicator: You can clearly communicate ideas, project updates, and strategic recommendations to colleagues and clients.
  • Self-Motivated & Flexible: You thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, staying flexible and motivated to deliver outstanding results.

  • ABM Rockstar: Experience with ABM strategies and tools is a definite plus.
